UC Workers & Unions Protest Pension Theft/Privatization On September 16, 2010, UC workers and their unions protested the attack on their pensions through increased costs, cutbacks and privatization. They sought to make a citizens arrest of President Mark Yudof who has been pushing the privatizationand attacks on UC workers and students. The protest took place at the UCSF Mission Bay campus and the unions supporting the protest included CUE-IBT Local 2010, AFSCME Local 3299, UPTE-CWA Local 9191, AFT and the UC Council.
