On Dec. 10, 2009 IATSE Local 44 movie propmaker Steve Basile with his wife Skye went to the world headquarters of Tesla Motors Inc. to let them know about the dangerous conditions at the Stuart Lichter IRG owned Downey site where they are considering building a "green" auto assembly plant with $465 million of Department of Energy DOE funds. He met with Ricardo Reyes VP Communications who promised that he would meet with them again. Reyes has refused any further communication.
