SAVE San Francisco Community Access Station - 26:50 San Francisco community and media activists participated in a press conference and picket at the San Francisco Community Access channel to demand that it not be closed. Newsom the mayor of San Francisco and his Department of Technology has chosen the Bay Area Video Coalition to manage the station and they are intent in closing the station despite the fact that the city will be receiving $375,000 from Comcast and they city can pay the rent on the facility. The City has set aside $200,00 to dismantle the station for a flash studio at BAVC. The city spent over $1 million to build out the station and it took years. Call the San Francisco Supervisors and the Department of Technology to let them know the station should not be dismantled. Coalition to Defend Free Speech And SF Community Access
