Dozens of teachers from Richmond and the West Contra Costa Unified School District who are members of the United Teachers of Richmond-CTA picketed a training for scabs at the Double Tree Hotel in Berkeley on 10/3/2009. The district management has demanded major take-aways including eliminating healthcare for dependents and the union rights on the job.
