Two weekends ago, I partied at my favorite house in Mount Pleasant. There was birthday cake inside and hoopers outside. I went outside. Morgan started, shouting "bring it," broke the fourth wall, and encouraged me to pick up a hoop for the first time in a long time. I did. In heels. I handed my camera off when I took a hoop, so all filming credit goes to Cameron Nordholm. I assume all blame for gratuitous hooping. On Saturday, Dana and I went to Carter Mountain to pick apples and turn cartwheels. And, after apple-picking, I made pie--a lovely way to welcome fall.
