This is a project using Twit Pics, Twitter and Movie Maker to create a video timeline of the year in pictures.
The disruption of Twitter and Facebook and a long list of institutions trying to come to grips with new paradigms of communication highlighted the week in social media.
The week that was ended with two noteworthy events in social media on Friday. Sarah Palin took the opportunity to talk up her Twitter account, and then, sadly, Walter Cronkite died in the early evening, stirring legions of fans.This week's work was brutal production wise as I am very eager to play with music files, but MovieMaker is not eager to help. I'm experimenting with MovieMaker and the resources of the web to create a short review of the week in social media news.This work required literally hours as I solved problems with screen-grabbing video, aligning audio and images, and narration.I didn't do narration, instead choosing to use text to report, and to create transitions from one subject to another. The ideal thing is to be able to rapidly collect, edit and report these kind of packages and acquire skills that will be transferable ...
