Juri Imamura and I made this short stop-motion animation for our Comm Lab class at ITP. All of the materials were salvaged from the junk shelf, with the exception of the red plastic hooks, which we borrowed. The music is Infiltrado by Bajofondo Tango Club.

Servo-Powered Locker Door
For the servo section of Tom Igoe's Intro To Physical Computing at ITP, I built a motorized locker door out of Legos. My Arduino microprocessor is taped to the locker wall, just out of site, and a potentiometer is wired through to where the lock would normally be. From here it'd be pretty easy to program an actual combination lock using either the potentiometer or an analog or digital sensor. Try it.

Ultrasonic Range Finding Chastity Belt
I made this Chastity Belt/Abstinence Protector for my Week 2 Assignment in Tom Igoe's Intro To Phys Comp at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), and I recorded and edited it together for Comm Lab with Mariane Petit. I bought an ultrasonic range finder and used it to create a Chastity Belt that lights blinking LEDs to tell you when the person you're talking to is standing too close. The closer they are, after all, the better the chances you'll fall victim to their charm and intox...
