About this episode

In the sixth of the Sauter Concert Series, Dr. Zvonimir Nagy, Professor of Music Theory at St. Xavier College in Chicago, performs on the Sauter 9' Concert Grand at Family Piano Company. This piece is "Concealments" by Dr. Nagy, inspired by artwork by his wife Haey Nagy. The piano is on loan from the president of Sauter Pianos so that we can showcase the quality of these exquisite hand made instruments, of which only a handful are made each year.The Sauter Concert Series took place on Sundays (4PM-6PM) at Joplin's Java & Ragtime Cafe, part of the Family Piano Company.
