June 2nd, 2009... we had an amazing thunderstorm downpour including hail. I've only seen rain this hard in Utah a few times. I was out of the car for literally 3-4 seconds, and was so drenched I had to change my clothes, and it made my mascara run. Wow!
Lindsay, Heather & I took over the Wii Karaoke at the Rogers Barn over the weekend. We were relishing in the silliness, without a care in the world as to how off-key we were. They pretty much had to kick us out of there. :)
March 7th at approximately 7:45 a.m. my husband Steve’s father passed away. His passing was expected, and it was a peaceful end to years and years struggling with a neurological disease. It was his time to go, and we are all sad, but happy for him also, since he’s now free from his broken-down body. Sergeant Majors & Yellowtail Snappers were in abundance, as well as needlefish and several other bright colorful ones I couldn't name. And on top of that, the water was so c...
We took a 2 hour sea kayak tour while on the beautiful island of Coco Cay. We kayaked all the way from Coco Cay to Great Stirrup Cay and back. It was so fun! Over on Great Stirrup Cay we stopped on a gorgeous beach that had only 1 foot of water from the shore out about 30 yards. It was a haven for Starfish, Conch, Sand Dollars, and baby Stingrays! It was so overwhelmingly pretty I couldn't do anything but sit back, take a deep breath, bask in the sunlight, and wade through the water in glee. A...
