Devo and Neil Young perform Hey Hey, My My in a dream sequence during the 1982 movie "Human Highway" -- I believe this movie is currently out of print and unavailable so please have mercy on me. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen, but strangely good.
A recording from the 1985 hurricane that swept through the Northeast -- this is from WALK on Long Island. Apologies for the quality; it was recorded on a boom box using D batteries after the power was out... then the tape sat in a box for 20 years.
Maura's dad on the Banjo, at our party the other day.
Finally got around to some old footage of a trip to the Oregon Coast -- we stopped somewhere along Route 101 headed south to eat a snack, and this is the bit of road from wherever that was (middle of the woods somewhere) to the town of Astoria. The bridge we cross towards the end is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America and is just over 4 miles long.
The video yearbook for the 1989 graduating class for John H Glenn High School in East Northport, NY (Elwood School District). I hope nobody hates me TOO much for posting this.
Took a drive to Rockport State Park to do a bit of hiking -- set the camera up somewhere between Oso and Darrington, headed east on 530.
Took an afternoon drive up to Paradise at Mt. Rainier. ; Shot some video driving from Paradise back down to Longmire.
Just a leisurely drive from the Ice Caves to Bedal Campground, on the Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls, WA. ; (We stopped to read a sign.)
Took an afternoon drive out to Snoqualmie Falls to hike down to the river -- but the trail is closed. ; Pretty drive, though.
This one's dedicated to my youngest fan, Sylvia.
