James Kalm lights the night sky with fireworks to celebrate the opening of James Biederman’s sculpture exhibition “Plaster Works”. Though known as a painter and art activist, directing the N3 Project Space in Williamsburg for three years, Biederman has also made sculpture. Using plaster bought from a local hardware store in North Carolina the artist has eliminated color allowing him to concentrates on volumetric form. Featuring an extended interview with James Biederman.
