Integral Fast Reactor history

Documentary describing the history of the Integral Fast Reactor project and how it solves the problems associated with traditional nuclear reactors. There is a great segment showing how coolant was shut off on the IFR and it shutdown by itself, exactly as designed. At the same time, they shut off the coolant to Chernobyl, and it blew up. An amazing contrast.Describes also why nuclear power became "out of favor" with the public; it wasn't out of fear, but because of low fossil fuel prices! The two key issues limiting the use of nuclear power: safety and waste, are addressed by the Integral Fast Reactor.
