http://www.instablogs.com/ For much of the world Bush administration has been a scourge and the election of Barack Obama is seen as welcome respite from it. His leadership immediately following the September 11th attacks, especially with regard to Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, seemed to promise great things. Those great things, however, never materialized. The Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina debacle, US recession and the resultant global economic recession along with a history of disregard for civil liberties and international law coupled with the recent shoe throwing incident has virtually destroyed his legacy.
