http://www.instablogs.com/ For much of the world Bush administration has been a scourge and the election of Barack Obama is seen as welcome respite from it. His leadership immediately following the September 11th attacks, especially with regard to Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, seemed to promise great things. Those great things, however, never materialized. The Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina debacle, US recession and the resultant global economic recession along with a history of disregard for civil liberties and international law coupled with the recent shoe throwing incident has virtually destroyed his legacy. Expectations are high from the new President Obama to clean up the mess and heal an already tattered reputation. http://www.instablogs.com/
