For the first time in its history, Gaza suffers huge shortage in all basic needs. Nothing had entered Gaza Strip during this period except some few trucks once 10 days ago for UNRWA. Situation has badly developed in terms of food and other supplies. All bakeries in Gaza city are closed due to the absence of flora. Interpol launches investigation Interpol announced Wednesday it is sending a team of investigators to Mexico to investigate the possibility that its communications systems and databases are not being used for legitimate purposes. The prospect was raised after the arrest of Ricardo Gutierrez Vargas, director for International Police Affairs at Mexico's (AFI), Federal Investigative Agency and the head of Mexico's Interpol office. The arrests came amid "a war of master proportions" between authorities and narcotics traffickers that have left more than 4,500 dead so far this year. Due to corruption at the highest levels of the Mexican government, and the almost effortless infiltration of security forces by the cartel, an ultimate victory by the state is far from certain. This is a huge industry with an extraordinary capacity to corrupt and intimidate the country. There's no easy solution , unless you put an end to the criminalization drugs, and that's not going to happen. Save the children campaign Internationally renowned organization Save the Children has pressed on Pakistan's government to revise child and family laws in the country in order to provide better protection to children against violence, abuse, and neglect both within and outside the family. According to available statistics, more than 5000 children suffered from violence in the year 2007 while many more cases go unreported. Save the Children has recently launched a national campaign in Pakistan, calling for early enforcement of the Child Protection Bill that was presented in 2006. The campaign aims at putting an end to all kinds of violence against children including corporal punishment in learning institutions. Alan Keyes non citizenship theory Alan Keyes the black Republican candidate who lost to Obama in the 2004 Senate race, is now trying to sue Obama, claiming that the new president-elect was not born in the U.S. Keyes filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento to stop the state from giving its electoral votes to Obama until evidence is shown to prove Obama was born in the U.S. Keyes was the presidential candidate of the American Independent Party in the 2008 election and was reportedly listed on the California state ballot. He has run for office several times before and never won. The story is old news for the Obama campaign. The Washington Post investigated months ago and debunked the non citizenship story. And FactCheck.org, an independent research project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania, also proved that Obama is, in fact, a natural born U.S. citizen. The facts: Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Friday, August 4, 1961 at 7:24 p.m. http://www.instablogs.com/
