Actress Adepero Oduye received the Rising Star Award at the Starz Denver Film Festival for her work in PARIAH. The dazzling young actress tells Eden about the making of the film, and how she won the part. Next, Eden introduces viewers to the playwright of THE WHALE, which was chosen from last year's Colorado New Play Summit and is currently being rehearsed by the Denver Center Theatre Company for its world premiere. Finally, Alan Dominguez tells Eden about his Colorado-produced documentary, PHOTOS OF ANGIE. The film follows the murder trial of Angie Zapata, and how her family coped with the national attention it received.
