Indy TV is a weekly studio talk show produced by members of Rochester Indymedia. We feature activists, artists, and regular citizens who are engaged in work that challenges us to build a better world. Our primary focus is local (Rochester, NY), but we occasionally invite national and international guest who are visting rochester to appear on our show.

On August 5, 2006, Russell Davis was outside of his apartment building on Dewey Ave. looking for the superintendent when Rochester police drove by, spotted him, and proceeded to detain him--with multiple officers drawing and pointing their weapons at Davis. When Davis asked if there was a problem, he was jumped by the cops, beat up, and shoved into a car for nearly an hour until officers could figure out what was going on. Davis was eventually released with injuries and charged with no crime. ...

On October 20, 2011, residents, activists, and members of Occupy Rochester, marched from the Liberty Pole to City Hall where they demanded police accountability and justice for Hayden Blackman--a resident on Columbia Ave. who was murdered by police on Oct. 13 during a domestic dispute.
