INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL OF BOSTON 2006

About this original series

Since 2003, The Independent Film Festival of Boston has been bringing a mixture of documentary, feature, and short films made outside of the Hollywood studio system to independent theaters around Boston. IFFBoston has offered the local filmgoing community the opportunity to see a wide range of innovative films long before their theatrical releases, and in many cases, films that they would never get a chance to see otherwise. IFFBoston also lets Boston connect directly with filmmakers through post-screening question and answer sessions, panel discussions, and parties. In just four short years, IFFBoston has been recognized by The Boston Globe as not only surpassing the offerings of other local film festivals by a long shot, but as likely to become "one of the country's premier festivals" in the future.
