This project is the result of my first assignment as a film major at Temple University, 2005. For the assignment we were told to pick our favorite place in philadelphia and show why we liked it so much. The project could only be a minute long and could not have any outside music. I chose the Reading Terminal Market which is home to over a hundred different food vendors. The space is often chaotic, but in a pleasant way. It is exciting to be there and I often run into lots of nice people. Almost everytime I go, I find myself looking at an unusual food item when someone will approach me and share a family recipe with me. I tried to capture that kind of camaraderie while depicting hectic atmosphere of the Terminal as well.
I made my first video project in high school almost 4 years ago. Now I'm studying filmmaking and videography at Temple University. Here I make sure to note the order in which my works were created so that you as the viewer can see how I am progressing.
