As someone who is still learning so much from my peers in the photo industry, I wanted to present a look at how we tackle small photo shoots as my way of giving back. Not a lot of gear, and not a lot of people. We try to light and shoot everything as easily and affordably as we can and provide amazing images to our clients.
Tonight I look at Mallorie and Devin's wedding. It was unusual in that I was shooting it entirely by myself. I go through how I light a reception when I'm the only shooter. I try to do it in a way that allows me to be fast a versatile when I don't have another photographer backing me up.
So far we've looked at shoots with off-camera lighting. For this one we look at a shoot we did with nothing but available light.
Today I look back at a larger shoot for us. We ended up doing 14 different setups in under three hours and had a very happy client.
An inside look at Rachel's trash the dress session. We visited a few different locations including a fire station for a memorable shot.
