About this original series

Ian trained in London and it was during his fashion education here that he decided to specialize in bridal and evening wear. His training began at Bellville Sassoon (one of London's finest couture houses) specializing in creating gowns for socialites and members of the royal family. This training was invaluable to Ian as it gave him the knowledge of cut, proportion, balance and wear ability within design. After a decade working for other leading bridal manufacturers in London and the New York, Ian set up his own label in 2003, and went on to become a multi-award winning name in his own right and globally recognised as one of bridal’s most creative and innovative designers in the industry. Based in London, the collection designed by Ian Stuart Ltd was an instant success and attracted worldwide publicity. It continues to grow and prosper today and allows Ian to concentrate on creating collections which truly reflect his passion for innovative bridal design, without any restraints or compromise.
