This program is about the great things happening in Orange County, California. Each episode features one or two segments delving into non-profit groups, charitable organizations, and incredible individuals dedicated to making a positive difference.
The first half of this episode features the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach. They help sick and injured seals and sea lions. The PMMC is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitiation, and release of these marine mammals. The second half features the Donna O'Neill Land Conservancy; a wilderness reserve located in the coastal foothills of Orange County. This episode features two groups that deal with animals. The first is the Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort (CARE). An organization helping pets find homes. The next segment is on the Shea Center. They help adults and children find therapy through horse riding. A unique method that is amazingly effective.
Third episode features Working Wardrobes. A non-profit organization helping those in need get back into the workforce. We are at their annual Black Tie & Tennies fundraiser. Plus, there are some amazing success story testimonials.
Episode two. Features the Asthma Walk and Create Now. Asthma is the most common chronic childhood disease. The Walk brings awareness to this commonly misunderstood ailment. Create Now holds a fundraiser at the Irvine Improv with headliner Pablo Francisco. Also in attendance is Debra Wilson from Mad TV.
First show. This episode features a unique educational program for children in recovery; Coastal Mountain Youth Academy. One unique aspect is the wilderness component where the children are taken to an outdoor locale and shown ways of finding trust, self-discovery, and self respect.
