It is never easy to talk with your kids about sex. But each year, there are approximately 19 million new STD infections, and almost half of them are among young people ages 15 to 24. In 2009, 46% of high school students reported having sexual intercourse and 14% already had four or more sex partners. These statistics show how critically important it is to have this conversation with your kids. To help parents with this conversation, Community Health Charities invited Chris Collins, Vice President and Director of Public Policy at amfAR, to talk about these current trends and share information and resources that may help you talk with your kids.
