Boxcartoon was conceived by Matt Marsden as an exquisite corpse collaboration wherein the filmmaker employed three other animators (Keith Kostecki, Halden Spoonwood and Lisa Barcy) to create short works within set parameters with no knowledge of the content of other segments.
