Here's another reason why Greensboro has one of the most exciting music scenes in the State of North Carolina. It had been an inspiring week of shooting and music and shooting music before I encountered DC and Laila Nur at the Green Bean. They agreed to play something for me on the back patio. The energy was so infectious that the local legend Ed Whitfield joined in along with two other musicians whose names I'll add to the description once I find out who they were. Upon finishing the first song someone asked, "Do you guys have an album? I'd buy it right now." They don't. They've written a single song, but I'm sure they'll be more to follow.
