Father to the recent Columbia Records phenomenon, The Avett Brothers, Jim graciously invited me into his home for an interview and then followed up by visiting our kitchen. The night I drove to his Concord, NC farm it was raining buckets. You might catch a few flashes in through the windows while he's showing me his, and his son's favorite guitars.
