Following a performance at Guilford College replete with inflatable jumping castles and pools of plastic bacteria ridden balls the members of Sallie Ford and the sound outside braved a stop over at the monkeywhale house to sing a couple of songs and drink tea. Sallie Ford who originally hails from Asheville, NC from an incredibly talented family, moved to Portland to find her voice. ; Since the release of the "not an animal EP" and a number of tour dates opening for the Avett Brothers they've quickly gained momentum and quite the following.
