The 6'5 wingman, Marcus Hunt, had a tremendous AAU season playing with the top notch Georgia Stars program. The Georgia Tech commit and North Clayton High School Superstar, has a well rounded game that leaves us with no other option than to dub him pre-season “Mr. Gymratinsider.” Hunt's game can be described as very physical, and not in fear of contact with defenders. He is a strong-bodied wingman with the ability to get to the paint and finish once inside.
As a Junior, Hunt averaged 26 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks. With numerous ways to score, Marcus also brings a solid assist average to get his team involved in his acts. In the end, he never fails to get what he desires and display his blue-collar type of skills. Over the summer, Hunt became one of the most heavily recruited backcourt players out of Georgia after his superb play with the Georgia Stars.
When it comes to Marcus' game, the only thing that can be tweaked a little is his jump shot. However, he shoots the ball exceptionally well overall. Marcus is an elite player with very few flaws. Marcus Hunt shows people how hard he works in the gym through his amazing stats and style of play. It was more than necessary to name him pre-season “Mr. Gymratinsider''.
