MALTA - 5 days spent visiting Malta and its sister island Gozo. We started in Gozo where we spent a day cycling in the inland. Despite the very short distances, cyclying in Gozo is tough due to the steep slopes. Hence the second day we decided to take a boat trip around the island starting from the Blue Lagoon, a magnificent, carribean-style beach. Then we took the ferry to Malta where we visited the capital (La Valletta) and the nearby fortified cities of Mdina and Vittoriosa.
