Joining us in the GRITtv studios, we have a one-on-one with folk singer and songwriter Jonatha Brooke, who?s just finished her new album, ?The Works,? which was heavily inspired by the lyrics and writings of classic folk singer Woody Guthrie. After an initial exposure to Guthrie?s personal musical writings, Brooke fell in love with many of his lyrics that never made it into recorded songs. These lyrics and writings were incorporated into Brooke?s songs on the new album, making for some impressive and interesting music. She performs two songs, ?All You Gotta Do Is Touch Me? and ?There Are More True Lovers Than One.? Less
