Part 1 documents the first leg of this adventure from Kunming China to the north border of Laos. The trek is planned for eighty days, 5,000 miles from Kunming to Singapore. Jin Fei Bao is the team leader and is carrying welcome messages from Zhang Zulin, the mayor of Kunming, to many of the mayor's in the countries his cycling team is visiting. Jesse Millett of New Lebanon, New York is a member of this team.
