I recently went to a lunch for Ford Warriors in Pink, a campaign that develops apparel items to support awareness and early detection of breast cancer. Before we learned more about the campaign I conned Michelle, @missSarcastic and Jill, @JillHanner on Twitter. Find out what happens!
As a part of the Ford Fiesta Movement each month I choose a mission. This month I attended the Travel Channel Academy. It was an intense 4 days where I was taught the type of content they are interested in buying.
This video is for Drew who works for a PR type agency working with Mazola. They have come out with a new oil that has omega-3s in it. He was nice enough to send me a free sample, one 32 ounce bottle to try out. I shot him a note that if he's sending oil to foodies most of us will want an excuse to deep fry! I shot this quick and rather shaky video to explain why he should send out 2 or 3 bottles. I was really, really not trying to get more free stuff from him.
I recently spent a fun evening with Emily Farris, author of Casserole Crazy, at The Brooklyn Kitchen. We tasted her delicious casseroles, debated the merits of ramen and just generally food-geeked out.
Blip.tv's Nathan King guides the Pittsburgh Duck Tour, through choppy waters. Aye, aye Captain.
I was invited to a Supper Club in Brooklyn recently that also happened to be shooting the meal for a web show that they'll launch sometime soon. I ended up helping out in the kitchen making a tahini sauce for their mini falafel appetizer.
