Lisboa is a wonderful city to explore from the modern to the historic part of town. It also has many levels and the architecture is mind blowing. It's also a walking city with some of the best cafes and dining spots.
Almeida Portugal is a walled city from the 17th century. Some of the best wines can be shared there. The rolling hills and plains are so spectacular. Convento D'Aguiar offers a tasting of traditional dishes and wines. The historical Village of Castelo Rodrigo has an ancient castle still standing. There sre so many thing to explore in the Beira Region.
Turino is a major city in Italy and it’s a bustling metropolis with lots to do and see. The National Cinema Museum is the tallest structure and offers a history of the cinema. The Italians put the ‘R’ in rich with their many palaces such as Madama Palace, which is now a museum. I was most impressed with the Royal Residence of Venaria Reale with its impressive garden.

Christ Passion Play takes place every five years in Sordevolo. The best Italian wines can be found in Barolo. Biella is a quaint little town with lots of history. The Piemonte region is culturally inspiring.
Many Christians make their pilgrimage to the Oropa Sanctuary high in the Alps. It's where the Black Madonna stands in a small chapel. The Sanctuary also has a museum with a small suite where the Royal Savoy family once stayed. The Christ Play is performed every five years in Sordevelo and its performed by locals with a passion.
