In a struggling economy, students who wish to attain a degree from a 2-year or 4-year college or university are finding that in order to pay for rising tuition, they have to take out larger student loans. Currently, about 2/3 of students who graduate school are in debt. The average amount per student is $10,000.
In an ailing economy, more and more students are turning to student loans to help pay off their college tuition. While the cost of a degree is high, can students properly pay off these debts when they graduate? Or are we facing a bigger economic crisis than we think about?
