In this episode, I give a brief overview of a program for the Windows platform that allows Geotagging. This program will attach GPS location data to your digital camera's image EXIF data and allow photo sharing sites such as Flickr to show where the picture was taken. This is a great feature for landscape and scenic photos. This episode I take a look at Shutterspot, a game played using photos and the GPS. Game players, using pictures, try to mark the spot where the pictures were taken. It's another fun thing to do with your GPS.Also, I have a quick peek at the new Garmin Colorado GPS receiver. The show is shorter then usual. I'm making a few changes to the show including shorter, but more frequent episodes. I hope you enjoy the new length.Another change is in file formats. This month I take a quick peek at the latest version on Google Earth. Google Earth is a fun program that uses satellite images to "fly" you anywhere on the planet. It also has mapping abilities and many more features.I continue my Flickr series with a look at a new feature that allows you to show where you took a picture.And of course, there's mail, Frappr shoutouts and geocaching.
