I am a big fan of Novatel USB EV-DO cards and was chomping at the bit to get a look at the new one that they have out. The new card is the U727 and what makes this USB EV-DO stick special is that not only does it have a antenna port that they are known for but you also no longer need to run through a splitter to run the USB device on two USB connections which an older model required. The next thing that makes this device nice is a port for 4gb memory card so the U727 can double as a memory device. For those on Sprint it also has a built in GPS which will allow you to use the card with mapping programs. Retails for $79.99 with a two year contract on either Sprint or Verizon. I personally like the slime design and new antenna configuration.
