      Here "Scout" (formerly "Dana") shows us what motivates him: "Prey" for getting the toy, "hunt" for tugging & dedication to getting the toy from beneath the stairs, and "food" for reward for what will become the "give" command. Social/"pack" will be assessed over the course of bonding with the dog, but the fact that he is willing to play with me speaks a bit toward this drive.
