We went to Chester County's 32nd Annual Restaurant Festival, in West Chester, PA, to interview Issa Ostrander from Mompops. We first met Issa at the Whole Foods Market Devon's 18th Anniversary and absolutely love that Mompops are 100% vegan! As they say on their site "They are all made from easy to spell and pronounce ingredients such as; fresh fruit, Organic Agave Nectar (a natural sweetener), cocoa, coconut, coconut milk, vanilla and more. We are Dairy, Gluten and Nut Free!" Did I mention all their flavors are under 100 calories? What's not to love about that? Unfortunately, the Chester County's 32nd Annual Restaurant Festival itself was not very vegan friendly, but while we were there we also interviewed Thais da Silva from Dia Doce who makes yummy vegan cupcakes.
