Bridging Real, Virtual and Imaginary Worlds: Experiments in Open Archaeology at the UC Berkeley UC Berkeley faculty, students, and staff will share the process of building an open multimedia exhibit, research archive, teaching collections, public archaeology program and student-run DeCal class in the 3d environment of Second Life. This project received the 2007 Open Archaeology Award from the American Schools of Oriental Research and the 2008 Virtual Learning Prize from the New Media Consortium.
