Radloff's Renaissance Clock
I met an intreaguing man in the Winter Park library today. Mr (Dr.) Radloff over the course of two years had constructed, by hand, a clock that looks like something straight out of Da Vinci's notebooks. When I met him hes was calibrating his clock for display in the library. Take a look at this fascinating contraption and equally interesting gentleman.

Just returned from a happy hour put on by Ryan Price and the guys behind Florida Creatives http://floridacreatives.com/ which hosts a show with interviews and profiles on local entrepreneurs, artists, musicians and groups trying to build a creative community in the Sunshine State. It was so cool to have so many like minded people in one place. The post is just a little opinoin piece. Sorry no songs tonight. It's late :)

Camping for A PS3 Interview
I stopped by the local Best Buy store to interview a few of the intrepid souls wating in line to get their hands on a new Sony Playstation 3. With visions of turning the systems around and selling them on Ebay this was American capitalism at its best - survival of the fittest. Braving thunderstorms and drive by eggings these customers would stop at nothing.

Drunken Americans Triathalon Club
DATC 2006 was a blast. Though we were missing lil’Ed and the Jamaican the trip to NC for the Watauga Lake Triathlon was a blast. There is no way to prepare this Florida boy for 47 degree racing weather and some of my buddies didn’t have wetsuits – Brrrrr. We had one casualty due to an asthma attack and the rest of us could have used supplemental oxygen due to the ridiculous altitude and elevation of the bike course. Momma taught me well
With fall descending I thought it only right to get in the spirit. October is my favorite month and I always remember fondly coming home from sports practice to find the windows and doors open and the fresh smell of Fall cooling the house rather then the hum of the air conditioning.
