video of my tongue piercing from 1999. this video screened at the short attention span film festival in 2000 and was voted number one in the "women's issues" category (which surprised me, because i didn't realize i had issues!) "effects of..." samples the audio from several of my 16mm educational films which i have been collecting for several years. the tongue piercing was performed at body manipulations in san francisco.
