I'm part of a "working family across America," as you say. You and John McCain are the ones that are "out of touch." Of course the surprise of having a rapid increase is a shock to us! We had no warning to budget for it or even plan for it at all! Barack Obama was raised by a single mother who had to go on food stamps, he worked his way up through hard work and seizing opportunities like scholarships. John McCain and his multi-million dollar wife have no idea how we feel!
