InSTEDD: Humanitarian Collaboration Tales

InSTEDD is currently developing a free, open source software and services platform for early detection and more effective response to emerging infectious diseases and humanitarian crises.

In their presentation at Where 2.0, Robert Kirkpatrick and Eduardo Jezerski discussed the unique challenges of humanitarian collaboration and the role that location-based technologies may play, and we’d like to demonstrate a few of the tools we’ve built and explain how they are being used in Southeast Asia. From O'Reilly Where 2.0 Conference, Burlingame, CA, May 14, 2008.
