Was that Steve Rubel on the opening shot? Is that the Ritz?

scobleizer said: 3 years ago

That was Jonathan Schwartz, CEO of Sun Microsystems. Yeah, we're at the Ritz (sitting in the three chairs). Also on that shot is Jeremy Wright, CEO of B5 Media and Don MacAskill, CEO of SmugMug.

This is a great trailer. I like that it's got that mix of rawness, but also the fun of the interview. Can you imagine this same show produced in the mid 80s, with the production quality and the aesthetics? Snore. But instead, you kept it visually entertaining.

Of course, will there be as many clips and cutaways in the real production? Time will tell. : )

I see Ryanne and Jay had a hand in it. Cool! That explains it. Neato!

I like the preview, it looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see the show. I am a little unsure as what the show will be about, but it seems that you are going to take an inside look at companies and chat with their CEOs.

Can you do an episode with Michael Dell on the exploding laptops? We all know viewers like explosions oh and car chases=) heh

Heheheh, that would be fun to do a story on.

My show is still forming. The first few weeks are going to be largely experiments and we'll learn from what works.

My favorite one so far is Photowalking with Thomas Hawk. It'll be interesting to see, though, what you all think about it.

this shows what your postproduction team can do! very good trailer - and obviously ready for repurposing with new cuts from upcoming interviews. Short and sweet!
