The ten steps Wolfe discusses are not an actual process, but a media process. This is really uninteresting stuff, it would be more useful if someone with Wolfe's weight critiqued the process and cause of 'making lists', 'obscuring information', 'limiting rights'. Wolfe instead goes for the shock tactics, what we have here are the symptoms of a root cause. I am (re)starting a new (old) political party with a trademarked name of The Democratic-Republican Party. I would like to run Naomi for President. The opening is in the campaign because we can appear and be heard and build an active and participatory organization.

Dear Mark, I've tried to find out how to contact Naomi Wolf via email but I can't find an email address for her. Can you somehow make sure she knows of this, my comment, please? Please inform her about Phil Schneider who got murdered for speaking out about his involvement with the building of Deep Underground Military Bases or Prisons (DUMB's or DUMP's) which are being built at a rate of two a year now under secrecy of course. There is one underneath a well known American airport and there are others scattered throughout the world. Phil Schneider saw the Prison Transfer Cars with the shackles already attached to them in one of these DUMB's. They're underground cities all ready to go for the coming in of martial law. What she speaks about ties in with the Secret Government and also with what William Cooper spoke about - he also got murdered. Naomi speaks of Guantanamo Bay prison which comes under one of her steps to closing down an open society - that prison, for a one world government, is not big enough for their needs, these Deep Underground Military Bases unfortunately are.

As a Canadian neighbour and friend of the USA, we are already experiencing your government's scare tactics. The passport comes to mind...it will become mandatory for us to have one if we want to cross your borders. No more Mister Nice Guy. We are all considered threats. I support Ron Paul, a true "conservative", for president (although until 8 weeks ago I was always a registered Independent) and I ALSO totally agree with you, someone more from the so-called "left," so this simply goes to show that "left", "right", "conservative", "liberal", etc..... in essence, "LABELS", do not matter any more. I'll debate her anytime, anyplace in a fair forum! She has many observations correct, and arriving at many correct conclusions, but her 'remedy' is wrong. She is also very distorted about the intent of the founding fathers. She is a socialist using historic truths (handpicked) to speak against fascism. I want to say that neither socialism, 'open' society, or fascism are the answer! True freedom, liberty, and personal sovereignty is the answer as our founding fathers truly intended - with no corporate 'persons' and no incorporated government. I do agree with many things she is saying, however, but remember she is socialist criticizing fascism. Why can't constitutionalists like myself ever get a forum?

Like so many others, both fascists and socialists, they keep referring to our original system as 'democracy'. The US WAS NEVER intended to be a 'democracy'. It was set up as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC! Either she isn't as smart as many give her credit for, or either she is trying to intentionally mislead. I wonder if she knows the difference between a 'citizen' and a 'Citizen'?
She has the gaul to admit that she couldn't understand the Bill of Rights or the Constitution unless someone sat her down and explained it to her?? P L E A S E! Most people in 1800 understood it perfectly and didn't need an 'expert' to explain plain English! And when she says 'I'm certainly not a Constitutional expert' - boy is she right on that admission! I travel consistently and you usually get the SSSS when you buy a one way ticket, it doesn’t mean you are on a list, and the note in the bag happens all the time. I generally get the note in the bag from TSA when I am carrying electronics.
I really understand her points on a overall basis. I think the “oppression” of our civil rights is starting to diminish. We are heading down the wrong road, states losing rights, phone tapping our own people, etc. etc.
You really want to be nervous, I found out over a year ago, Prez Bush sign an Executive Order giving him full control (over all government(s) in the event of a “National Emergency” without the definition clearly defined.
I think this is one of the reasons I have changed my position to Libertarian (basically the same as a Constitutionalist) rather than Republican.
Though I don’t I think she is a right on all accounts, I think her book should be read. I am also happy to see over reactions like these because I think it helps keep things in Check (it’s like gas prices, though they really suck being so high, it is forcing a needed change on reliance from foreign oil).
I am a capitalist at heart and always will be... I think we should get back to the old ways of the US when "America's business was business".
At the end of the interview her true agenda comes out though, and I especially like the point where she said "missile" hit the Pentagon but then quickly corrected it to "plane".
Pls, don't be fooled by her, but take enough of what she says seriously then throw away the other jibberish.
