Important interview with Doug Shultz, the filmmaker behind the documentary “Silence of the Bees”. The film is the season premiere of the celebrated PBS program NATURE (Airdate October 28th, 2007 on PBS), and it is the first film to internationally chronicle the devastating disappearance of bees worldwide, in a syndrome known as colony collapse disorder. The film also uniquely demonstrates how vital bees are to our agricultural production, and how their disappearance is a real threat to food production in the US and around the world.

Thank YOU! This is great. Spoke with David Hackenberg this week. Please give my e mail address to Doug. As a member of Global Response.org, I'd like to set up a coordinated letter writing campaign. (GR has a great system that is very effective) Would like to get in contact with others who may be already organized. ny29p@msn.com Sincerely

Doug Shultz you have revealed to the world the importance of these creatures. I used to raise honeybees when I was a child living at home. It was my first connection with nature and I loved it so. THANK YOU! THANK YOU, Doug for your effort in bringing this awareness to all of us.
