What I meant by "I wish News 24 was on DAB" specifically was that I wish that the audio from the TV channel were carried (in the glorious mono that it is!) on "Radio 5 Live Sports Extra" as a filler service when the channel isn't on air.

Currenly it carries a promotional loop for the Sports Extra service - which is a poor use of a very limited bandwidth.

So can we dump the promotional loop and switch in the audio feed from BBC News 24 please?

In the name of "public service broadcasting"
