Forthac is right, also the animation shows it incorrectly the ball should end up travelling both "sides" of the strip, that's the whole point of it.

Furthermore the part about the messed up words where only first and last letter are right and you can "completely" mess up everything else only really works with simple, common words and that you don't group consonants and vowels.

It's much harder to decipher words like "feeoumrrrhte", "pcgnaiuuos" and "qtxiiouc"

Yes -- I used to make mobius strips all the time as a kid. You just take a strip of paper, give it a HALF-twist, and tape the ends together. It thus becomes a one-sided object, and has can do weird stuff -- if you try cutting into thirds, for example, it will turn into two interconnected rings.

What a collection of whingeing, pedantic nerds who shoul;d get a life! I thought the vid was a well made, well concieved piece of entertainment and took it as such. I have no doubts that these critics have never put anything of their own out there to be seen and personally wish they would keep teir petty small minded views to themselves.

They calmly pointed out some basic errors with the material in the video, and at no point resorted to attacking the creator or even being particularly negative towards the video as a whole. I see no whinging (except in your post) or pedantry, nor petty small-mindedness. Either your reading comprehension is lacking, or the petty person is you.

Wow--- this video clip is amazing. Especially the Union Jack one. If I do not look at the black dot in the center, I cannot see the union jack. It’s really interesting! But I think the pictures and instructions should stay a little bit longer.
