I think these elections are an indicator that the politics of appeasement to the extremist Republican ideology, which talks free trade but really is nothing but corporate Socialism. The problem with the Republicans is Socialism is any money that goes into somebody else's pocket other than their own. If it goes into their pocket, it's not Socialism, so I believe the President is losing his ground base because he's playing footsies with these people. They're dragging their feet so well, and he's you know, trying to appease them that nothing is going to get done and he's going to lose and the Democrats are going to lose the strong support base that he had going into his Presidency and it's rather sad. - Anonymous
