Very powerful. Thank you. My 19 year old son is in his youngster year,i.e. sophmore, at the Naval Academy right now. So your choice of hymn seemed particularly powerful to me. His mom is not happy at the prospect of where he will go after he graduates. He wants to be a SEAL. He texted me yesterday to let me know that his first session of a Naval Academy club to get midshipman ready for SEAL training is Saturday morning. When I think of the the self absorbed, self obssesed, self serving boomer elite who run our country and so easily trample on the sacrifices made to keep them in power I tend to agree with her.
