Opening Day of Garden City Little League
April 18, 2009 GARDEN CITY, GEORGIA
9:30 AM
Parents and athletes meet at the parking lot of the Garden City recreation Department to form up the annual parade to celebrate the opening day of Little League Baseball.

Fire trucks, police cars, the current mayor with all of the former mayors of the town are there because this is an event that everyone enjoys.
Teammates in uniform, riding together on a float or in the back of a pickup truck, permission to get rambunctious and throw water balloons. The Coaches even slip the kids some city-sanctioned super-soaker water guns.
The energy if high and the fun is clean.
Throw some gum to the neighbors then squirt them if they try to retrieve it.
